Taylor Stewart, who was from the Cookstown area, vanished on New Year\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old\u2019s body was found on Wednesday afternoon following searches by police and rescue teams.<\/p>\n

The PSNI later said a post-mortem examination found no evidence of criminality in his death.<\/p>\n

Mr Stewart\u2019s funeral will take place at his family home at 1pm this afternoon, followed by interment in Sandholes Presbyterian Churchyard.<\/p>\n

A family notice described him as the \u201cadored dad of Tommy, much loved son of Chanelle, cherished brother of Paige, much loved grandson of Mitchell and Minnie, Robert and Hetty and a treasured nephew and cousin.\u201d<\/p>\n

A body was discovered on Wednesday in the search for missing man Taylor Stewart.<\/p>\n

Ahead of his funeral, Mr Stewart\u2019s former schools paid tribute.<\/p>\n

Cookstown High School said: \u201cTaylor is fondly remembered by staff as a vibrant young person with a warm sense of humour and a genuine passion for cars.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe often spoke enthusiastically about his ambition to become a mechanic, and his personality and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on all who knew him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were deeply saddened to learn of Taylor\u2019s untimely passing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones at this very difficult time, particularly those family members who are currently pupils at the school.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donaghey Primary School also paid tribute.<\/p>\n

It said: \u201cWe are devastated for Taylor’s family circle including those family members who attended Donaghey Primary School as pupils.<\/p>\n

“Taylor left Donaghey Primary School as a P7 leaver in June 2016. During his time at the school, Taylor shone in all practical activities. In addition Taylor\u2019s technological and ICT knowledge was fantastic. This is where he excelled.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe commend Taylor’s family, the emergency services and volunteer groups who have tirelessly searched for Taylor over the last week.\u201d<\/p>\n
