National Grid (NG) said it was continuing to work around the clock on repairs to power lines brought down in the storm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A yellow weather warning from the Met Office remains in place for ice across the region with temperatures still hovering around freezing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">West Midlands Trains and Transport for Wales warned passengers there would continue to be disruption in the wake of the storm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Hundreds of homes across the West Midlands remain without power, following heavy snowfall brought by Storm Goretti.
