He may not be the biggest of names, but he rose above most of those in the Blues squad to establish himself under Enzo Maresca.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a big learning curve for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chelsea<\/a> defender, but he\u2019s easily one of the best central defenders in the Premier League and will likely continue his rise under Liam Rosenior. <\/p>\n<p>One of the former Chelsea players <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/news\/trevoh-chalobah-on-the-two-biggest-lessons-he-learned-from-thiago-silva-at-chelsea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who has helped Chalobah is Thiago Silva<\/a>. Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>   Trevoh Chalobah admits he\u2019s still in touch with Antonio Rudiger<\/p>\n<p>Antonio Rudiger was a huge part of some of the most successful years at Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>During his time at Stamford Bridge, he scooped up a Champions League, Europa League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and an FA Cup trophy. <\/p>\n<p>And it seems his connection to Chelsea hasn\u2019t gone away, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/tag\/trevoh-chalobah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trevoh Chalobah<\/a> still talks to the defender. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chelseafc.com\/en\/news\/article\/trevoh-chalobah-the-fa-cup-holds-a-special-place-in-my-heart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Chelsea<\/a> about the FA Cup final, he had this to say. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I had been training with the first-team during the second half of the season, it wasn\u2019t so daunting \u2013 I felt ready,\u2019 he smiles, reflecting on a final settled by Eden Hazard\u2019s spot-kick.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a great moment. It was my first senior medal and trophy, and it was such a great experience to share it with the likes of Toni Rudiger and Eden Hazard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRudiger was great with me that season in particular. He helped me a lot, and I still talk to him to this day. He\u2019s been an important part of my journey. The likes of Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud all helped as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/GettyImages-1370189933-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Chelsea v Palmeiras: Final - FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021\" \/>Photo by Darren Walsh\/Chelsea FC via Getty ImagesRay Parlour urges Antonio Rudiger to return to Chelsea<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/transfer-news\/ray-parlour-urges-chelsea-to-sign-real-madrid-player-available-for-a-bargain-9m-in-january\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent talk of a return to Chelsea for Antonio Rudiger<\/a> came from the mouth of former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTake him, he knows Chelsea, I\u2019d take him straight back.
