while it also received a seven minute round of applause.<\/p>\n<p>Crimes of the Future is from the brains of filmmaker\u00a0David Cronenberg and stars\u00a0Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/who\/kristen-stewart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kristen Stewart<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart plays a curious investigator hired by an organ agency as they commodify the act of surgery for a live audience.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 film&#8217;s synopsis explains: &#8220;As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With his partner Caprice (L\u00e9a Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/topic\/celebrity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">celebrity<\/a> performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Timlin (Kristen Stewart), an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively tracks their movements, which is when a mysterious group is revealed&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Their mission &#8212; to use Saul&#8217;s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The dystopian world movie saw audiences and critics walk out mid film &#8211;
