Manchester City cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 10-1 win over Exeter. Pep Guardiola picked a formidable XI to face the League One side and was rewarded with a comfortable win.<\/p>\n

Young defender Max Alleyne got City up and running before Rodri smashed in a second, and two more goals late in the first half were followed by a triple substitution after the break. Antoine Semenyo then picked up a goal and assist on his full debut for the club before being replaced by Jeremy Doku with half an hour to go as City showed no mercy.<\/p>\n

Tijjani Reijnders curled in from the edge of the box, Nico O’Reilly headed in and Ryan McAidoo lashed home before George Birch grabbed a late consolation and Rico Lewis added a tenth. Here are the player ratings from the Manchester Evening News.<\/p>\n

Trafford: <\/strong>A decent save early on as Exeter threatened and then had very little to do in a game City bossed. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lewis: <\/strong>Central to much of City’s play, scored a lovely goal and created another for O’Reilly. He even had the armband in the second half. 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Khusanov: <\/strong>Another solid performance, with his biggest threat coming when Mfuni crashed into him late on. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alleyne: <\/strong>Scored the first goal and didn’t put a foot wrong after that to cap a fantastic week for the youngster. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ake: <\/strong>Popped up with the third goal after being involved in the first as well before being taken off at half-time. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rodri: <\/strong>A lovely moment for him to score – and a cracking strike. Important minutes for him as he builds back up. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

McAidoo: <\/strong>Faded a little in the second half but made excellent decisions to help make goals and showed no fear. Scored late on 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reijnders: <\/strong>Still has his frustrating moments but he had a hand in a number of goals and kept City on the front foot. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cherki: <\/strong>Drifted in and out of the game, not helped by taking on a number of positions. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Semenyo: <\/strong>A goal and assist in the second half to liven up his performance and surely see him start at Newcastle. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haaland: <\/strong>Went close with one decent effort and looked alive, but should still see it as an opportunity missed. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Substitutes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mukasa (for Haaland, 46) <\/strong>Plenty of running and set up McAidoo for his goal. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mfuni (for Ake, 46) <\/strong>Held his own in some physical battles. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

O’Reilly (for Rodri, 46) <\/strong>Got his head onto Lewis’ cross for another goal. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doku (for Semenyo, 64) <\/strong>Picked up where Semenyo left off. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silva (for Alleyne, 64) <\/strong>Slotted in without any fuss. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n
