<\/p>\n Family speaks out after body of missing Detroit-area teen found<\/p>\n 02:03<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n One person remains in custody in connection with the disappearance and death of 17-year-old London Thomas<\/a>.<\/p>\n Terry Johnson, an attorney who represents the two people who had been in custody since April 26, says his clients were released Friday morning after both were held for more than 100 hours without being charged.\u00a0<\/p>\n One of those individuals later turned themself in to the authorities on Friday after the initial release. Johnson said he believes that the individual could be charged and arraigned as early as Friday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n Thomas’s body was found in Southfield on April 25. Neighbors living in the area of Millard Street near Berg Road say the teen’s body was found inside an SUV parked in the driveway of a home.\u00a0<\/p>\n Thomas was last seen around midnight on April 5 after she was dropped off at an Inkster residence on the 27000 block of Carlysle Street near Inkster Road.\u00a0 <\/p>\n Thomas was reported missing on April 8. Her family and friends organized at least two searches in Westland on\u00a0April 12<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a017<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n This is a developing story.
