For former Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge, the answer is simple \u2014 the \u20ac70 million sale of Luis D\u00edaz to Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe answer to the riddle is that Luis D\u00edaz was the best attacker last season. Salah may have broken all the records, but D\u00edaz was persistent in attack, pressed hard, scored goals, and created chances, right? The sale has severely weakened the club,\u201d Sturridge said (as captured by Sport Bild).<\/p>\n
D\u00edaz has been a revelation at Bayern Munich and a near-perfect fit for what the Bavarians\u2019 attack needed. While there was some concern that the Colombian might have lost a step or even peaked, there has been no sign of him slowing down in Bavaria.<\/p>\n
D\u00edaz has 13 goals and seven assists in 22 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich so far this season.<\/p>\n
