One of the most talked-about street artists in the world is heading to Manchester this spring, as The Mystery of Banksy \u2013 A Genius Mind<\/a><\/strong> makes its UK debut in the city this March. The immersive exhibition promises a deep dive into the anonymous artist\u2019s work and influence, bringing together large scale installations, prints and recreations inspired by some of Banksy\u2019s most recognisable pieces.<\/p>\n

With tickets starting from \u00a316 for family rates on Fever<\/a><\/strong> (for up to six individuals, with a maximum of two adults), the exhibition offers an accessible way to explore the ideas, politics and cultural impact behind the elusive artist, whose work has appeared everywhere from city walls to auction houses. Adult tickets (16+) start from \u00a322 and there are reduced admission tickets from \u00a318, too.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition brings together around 200 recreated pieces inspired by Banksy\u2019s most recognisable works, presented across a series of themed spaces. The experience moves through large scale graffiti walls, photographs, sculptures, video installations and prints, giving context to the visual language and messages that have defined Banksy\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

The immersive game is making a debut in Manchester and it lasts around 90 minutes, taking place at Depot Mayfield.<\/p>\n

A dedicated video element explores key moments in his journey, tracing how his work evolved and why it continues to spark global conversation. Set at Depot Mayfield, the exhibition is designed as a walk-through experience lasting around 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s open to all ages, with children under six able to enter for free, and tickets are released in timed slots to manage visitor flow. Having already attracted more than 3.5 million visitors across 36 cities worldwide, the Manchester edition marks the first chance for UK audiences to experience the show on home soil.<\/p>\n

For some alternative options, there is also the Roots in the Sky<\/a><\/strong> project and tickets are available from the Manchester Theatres website. This one is on display until Monday 7th December 2026, and it is said to bring together ‘new and recent works by ten contemporary artists’ whose practices span the US, Europe and West Africa.<\/p>\n

Or, the Disney in Concert: The Sound of Magic<\/a><\/strong> is showing in Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, with tickets beginning at \u00a350.60 from the end of March with Ticketmaster. This is performed by a live symphony orchestra and offers a range of songs from the Walt Disney Company, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, The Jungle Book and Frozen, among others.<\/p>\n

The Mystery of Banksy \u2013 A Genius Mind<\/a> has been rated highly on TripAdvisor, however. One person said: “I learned a lot about him and his message.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t even know he was so stiff in war zones and the like. I admire him even more.<\/p>\n

“We loved it with painting (spray) his own T-shirt. Cute, welcoming female employee who welcomed us well.<\/p>\n

“Thanks for the experience!” Another wrote as part of a longer review: “Fantastic!<\/p>\n

“I learnt a lot!” A third said: “Lovely way to learn more about this artist and about how art can be used in clever ways.<\/p>\n

“The family loved it! I would recommend to buy tickets in advance.”<\/p>\n

A handful of others removed a star and said: “In less than an hour, you get a clear picture of Banksy\u2019s history and a few hundred of his most iconic works. Restored \u2013 but concrete walls and war zones have probably not been the easiest move to.”<\/p>\n

Another said: “A little flat experience.”<\/p>\n
