Capital officers<\/a> descended on a city centre entertainment complex late on Sunday night (January 11).<\/p>\n

The incident took place shortly before 9pm at the Omni Centre. In an image shared with Edinburgh Live, several police vehicles were spotted outside of the popular venue.<\/p>\n

The exact nature of the incident is unknown. However several officers were seen at the entrance to the site.<\/p>\n

One eye witness said: “I was walking past the Omni Centre and saw three police vehicles and four officers outside the centre. Further up there was another van.<\/p>\n

“I’m not sure what happened. But there seemed to be a big presence.<\/p>\n

“I hope everyone is ok.”<\/p>\n
