site.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emergency services rushed to Waverley Road in <a aria-label=\"Paisley (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/where\/paisley\/\" target=\"_blank\" Ambulance Service trauma team and special operations team attended and a 36-year-old man was taken to <a aria-label=\"Queen Elizabeth University Hospital  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/hospitals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Queen Elizabeth University Hospital <\/a>in Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>Cops said the man remained in a critical condition overnight and died in hospital on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/health-and-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Health and Safety Executive (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Health and Safety Executive<\/a>, the national regulator for workplace health and safety, has been informed of the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service, said: \u201cWe received a call to attend an incident on Waverley Road in Paisley.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a trauma team and our special operations team to the scene. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/police-scotland\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Police Scotland (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cAround 9.15am on Friday, we were called to a demolition site on Waverley Road in Paisley after a man was injured.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 36-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, where he died on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMost read in The Scottish Sun\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing and the Health and
