The purpose of the OGAE Poll is not to predict the winner, but to determine the fan favourite.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the poll has been closely followed by fans as an indicator of potential results at the Eurovision Song Contest. The OGAE poll can give an indication of taste amongst the fans which helps to build momentum behind certain entries.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Baby Lasagna from Croatia was declared the winner of the OGAE Poll 2024 after a total of 5,760 votes were cast across the OGAE fanclubs. In 2011 Azerbaijan won the Eurovision Song Contest represented by Ell &amp; Nikki and their song \u201cRunning Scared\u201d. The song scored a total of 221 points, receiving only three sets of 12 points from Malta, Russia and Turkey.
