{"id":691123,"date":"2026-01-12T13:24:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T13:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/691123\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T13:24:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T13:24:10","slug":"john-eustace-praises-competitive-derby-after-fa-cup-loss-to-leeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/691123\/","title":{"rendered":"John Eustace praises &#8216;competitive&#8217; Derby after FA Cup loss to Leeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Derby County boss John Eustace has said there are &#8220;lots of positives&#8221; to take from their 3-1 FA Cup defeat to Leeds United on Sunday.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Rams led the contest through Ben Brereton Diaz&#8217;s low strike in the first half but conceded twice within four minutes in the second period, before James Justin put the game to bed in added time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We were good, we were very competitive,&#8221; Eustace told BBC Radio Derby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I was really pleased with the debut of Oscar (Fraulo), Lewis Travis came back in, Corey Blackett-Taylor was really exciting on the left.
