{"id":691136,"date":"2026-01-12T13:31:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T13:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/691136\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T13:31:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T13:31:10","slug":"whytes-one-of-the-best-restaurants-in-east-london-is-reopening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/691136\/","title":{"rendered":"Whyte\u2019s One of the Best Restaurants in East London is Reopening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the start of 2025, the highly delicious Whyte\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/whytes-one-of-east-londons-best-restaurants-is-closing-010925\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closed down its London Fields restaurant<\/a> just over a year after opening.<\/p>\n<p>Despite scoring a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/whytes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">five star review from Time Out<\/a> for the \u2018simple east London space with one of the city\u2019s hottest chefs in charge\u2019, and securing a place in both our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/the-best-restaurants-in-hackney\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best restaurants in Hackney<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/the-best-new-restaurants-in-london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best new restaurants in London<\/a> lists, chef Whyte Rushen and restaurateur Livi Akers shut up shop after 15 months. The team then went on on a \u2018world tour\u2019, cooking at 30 cities across the globe.
