<\/p>\nMs Singco \u2013 who was a backseat passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash \u2013 died in hospital from her injuries, with her unborn baby also dying as a result.<\/p>\n
The Moira Road in Crumlin was closed in both directions between Nutts Corner roundabout and the Ballydonagh Road following the crash involving a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb.<\/p>\n
Emergency services, including the PSNI, the NI Fire Service (NIFRS) and the air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n
The NIFRS dispatched two appliances from its Crumlin Road station and one from Springfield station.<\/p>\n
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed a man in his 30s who was a passenger in the same car as Ms Singco has been critically injured and said a number of others involved suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n
He is understood to have been Ms Singco\u2019s husband.<\/p>\n
PSNI Detective Inspector Stewart, of the Collision Investigation Unit said: \u201cWe can also confirm that, sadly, Cathrene was pregnant and her baby also died as a result of the collision. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are investigating what happened and require the public\u2019s assistance with our enquiries.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any dash-cam footage of the road at the time which could assist with our investigation, please contact us in the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 735 11\/01\/26.\u201d<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said: “NIAS received a 999 call at 14:05 on Sunday, 11th January, following reports of a road traffic collision in the Moria Road area, Crumlin.<\/p>\n

“NIAS dispatched six emergency ambulances, three ambulance officers, two HART Teams and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were also tasked to the scene.<\/p>\n
