{"id":693134,"date":"2026-01-13T12:24:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T12:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693134\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T12:24:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T12:24:13","slug":"exotec-expands-partnership-with-renault-group-in-germany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693134\/","title":{"rendered":"Exotec expands partnership with Renault Group in Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.exotec.com\/en-gb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Exotec<\/a> is equipping <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renault.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renault Deutschland AG<\/a>, the French car manufacturer, with its Skypod system to modernise its logistics capabilities at its Br\u00fchl site in Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting in 2026, Renault plans to supply car dealers across Germany with spare parts for its models, using an automated warehouse\u00a0\u00a0in the country for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Following the successful deployment of Renault\u2019s French site in Villeroy last year, the warehouse robotics specialist is now equipping Renault Group in Germany with its Skypod system within their new, 258,000 square foot automated warehouse.<\/p>\n<p>The warehouse will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a total of 89 Skypod robots to deliver a planned throughput of over 1,600 containers per hour. The system combines efficient goods receiving and order picking, with a capacity of 1,500 order lines per hour. Orchestrating the entire operation is Exotec\u2019s in-house warehouse execution system, Deepsky, which seamlessly coordinates inbound to outbound flows.\u00a0The anticipated go-live is for June 2026.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-419030\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Exotec-Renault-02-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1335\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to be involved in the modernization of Renault Germany\u2019s logistics site,\u201d said Andreas St\u00f6ckl, EVP Sales Central Europe at Exotec. \u201cOur Skypod system enables flexible, scalable, and efficient warehousing that is ideally suited to the high demands of the automotive industry.
