{"id":693259,"date":"2026-01-13T13:54:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T13:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693259\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T13:54:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T13:54:11","slug":"savills-im-sells-retail-park-in-germany-to-redevco-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693259\/","title":{"rendered":"Savills IM sells retail park in Germany to Redevco | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"intextlink\" href=\"https:\/\/realassets.ipe.com\/searchResults.aspx?searchCode=3240\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"intextlink_1 noopener\">Savills Investment Management<\/a> has sold a retail park in Germany to <a class=\"intextlink\" href=\"https:\/\/hub.ipe.com\/asset-manager\/redevco-real-estate\/424856.supplier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"intextlink_0 noopener\">Redevco<\/a> for an undisclosed price.<\/p>\n<p>The Bahnhofsarkaden property, located in the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg region of the Allg\u00e4u, 140 miles from Munich,\u00a0was held by <a class=\"intextlink\" href=\"https:\/\/realassets.ipe.com\/searchResults.aspx?searchCode=3240\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"intextlink_2 noopener\">Savills IM<\/a>\u2019s European Commercial Fund (ECF).<\/p>\n<p>The pan-European fund, launched in 2008, is diversified across the office, retail, and logistics sectors, and now holds 18 properties in 10 countries following this deal.\u00a0Various German institutional investors are invested in the fund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"picture\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Retail park in Leutkirch_Germany_Source CBRE\" src=\"https:\/\/d15duu1h3gsd2d.cloudfront.net\/Pictures\/280xAny\/0\/4\/6\/1340046_retailparkinleutkirch_germany_sourcecbre_18783.jpg\"  loading=\"eager\" class=\"lazyloaded\" width=\"2244\" height=\"1495\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Redevco has purchased the 13,000sqm asset, spread across five units, on behalf of its European Retail Parks Fund.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anchor tenants include supermarket group REWE and discount retailer\u00a0Lidl. Other tenants include chemist chain\u00a0dm-drogerie markt, and Woolworth. At the end of 2024, non-food discounter Action was also secured as a new tenant.<\/p>\n<p>Norbert Stangelmayer, director fund management at Savills IM, said:\u00a0\u201cThrough active management of the retail park, we were able to achieve attractive performance and stable distribution yields throughout the entire holding period. Given the continued demand for retail parks, we have now successfully sold the property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sale forms part of the strategic management of our ECF, within which the allocation to the logistics segment is intended to be further increased.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tim Ulrich, head of transaction management Germany, Austria &amp; Switzerland at Savills IM, added:\u00a0\u201cEven though the real estate investment market remains generally subdued, we are seeing individual compelling opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor various funds and mandates, we are actively seeking additional properties in Germany and across Europe that benefit from positive economic and demographic trends and meet high sustainability standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur focus is clearly on the logistics, residential, grocery retail, and office sectors.
