When a space undermines that, walking away is not weakness \u2013 it is a responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast summer we urged action on the horrific sexist and racist abuse being levelled at our Lionesses. Alongside these actions, we have to make choices about where we show up as an organisation and where we don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sport England leaves X over Grok<\/p>\n<p>Sport England stated on 8 January that it would be \u201csuspending indefinitely\u201d its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/after-grok-should-the-uk-opt-for-an-australia-style-social-media-ban\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">X account<\/a> and will now post on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and BlueSky.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tRead more<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<a class=\"read-more__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/breaking-ofcom-investigation-into-grok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ofcom investigation launched into Grok AI deepfakes on X<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boardman\u2019s latest comments come amid a <a href=\"https:\/\/committees.parliament.uk\/committee\/203\/education-committee\/news\/211282\/mps-deeply-alarmed-by-grok-ai-images-says-education-committee-chair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">government-backed<\/a> Ofcom investigation into X and Grok over sexualised AI images.<\/p>\n<p>The UK media regulator last year condemned abuse towards England\u2019s Lionesses during their second successive European Championship victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Concluded Boardman: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/elon-musks-x-suffers-sales-and-profit-slump-before-grok-fallout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">X has become<\/a> a less effective way for us to do our job.
