{"id":693713,"date":"2026-01-13T18:52:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T18:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693713\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T18:52:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T18:52:13","slug":"latest-salford-rlfc-announcements-see-jerseys-revealed-and-more-special-guests-confirmed-for-season-opener","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/693713\/","title":{"rendered":"Latest Salford RLFC announcements see jerseys revealed and more special guests confirmed for season opener"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/OHO9639.jpg\" class=\"attachment- size- wp-post-image\" alt=\"Salford\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salford RLFC have made two huge announcements over the past 24 hours, one of which being the release of their 2026 playing kits.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The side now owned by Mason-Caton Brown, released their new stripes at a fan event on Monday evening, whereby supporters could also ask the new men in charge, as well as CEO Ryan Brierley, any questions they may have over the club and it\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>With Caton-Brown\u2019s consortium taking over in mid-December, there has not been that much time to get things in order, meaning announcements have come thick and fast.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-every-player-to-sign-for-salford-rlfc-ahead-of-first-game-under-new-identity-111642\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the club announced the first 15 players that have signed for the club<\/a>, with the group at present mainly being filled by former Salford academy players.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement of the jerseys were one of the main events at the evening. The kits were made by Debeau Performance, a company owned by Leigh Leopards owner Derek Beaumont, who are also the manufacturers of Leigh\u2019s and Widnes Vikings\u2019 2026 playing kits.<\/p>\n<p>Their home kit features a pattern in the style of flames, which represent the club \u2013 a phoenix rising from the ashes.\u00a0 The home kit is red and black, whilst the away strip is primarily white with red flames.<\/p>\n<p>Salford will don their new strip later this week, as they kick off the Championship season against Oldham in a local rivalry.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udd25 It\u2019s here! announcement of the week, Salford have confirmed more special guests that will be in attendance for their season opener on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-salford-rlfc-confirm-special-guests-including-former-boss-to-attend-championship-owner-111709\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Having already confirmed that former boss Paul Rowley<\/a> and ex-players Chris Hill and Jackson Hastings will be at the game, the Reds have now announced that more key figures in their recent history will be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Former Sporting Director Ian Blease, as well as ex-playing trio Brodie Croft, Kallum Watkins and Marc Sneyd will join the celebrations as Salford kick off their new era on
