Leeds United<\/a> are set to sanction Jack Harrison\u2019s latest loan exit from Elland Road this week. And, he\u2019s not the only player speculated for an exit, as Joel Piroe<\/a> rumours catch the eye.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The January window has often been a slow starter at Elland Road. Dominoes are going to have to fall into place for the 49ers to spring into action.<\/p>\n

One of those hurdles to clear is having space in the budget and squad to bring in a new signing. Jack Harrison is the first to be leaving.<\/p>\n

The first order of business for Leeds during the January window has been Harrison. Having returned from successive Everton stints, he\u2019s failed to break back into the starting picture at Leeds, and has also failed to win back the fans too.<\/p>\n

With that, an exit in January 2026 was always one that we\u2019d anticipate could happen. And, Serie A strugglers Fiorentina are the side to have swooped in for his signature<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported through several outlets that the winger is heading to Florence imminently as the two parties agree a loan<\/a>. Fabrizio Romano<\/a> adds that a buy option is included in the winger\u2019s transfer, to the tune of around \u00a38.6million.<\/p>\n

Will Leeds United also sanction Joel Piroe exit transfer this January amid Premier League struggles?<\/p>\n

If Leeds want to maximise their budget, a permanent exit would make more sense. Looking at the squad and viable options to cash in on that wouldn\u2019t badly hamper our survival hopes, Joel Piroe stands out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The recently-confirmed Suriname striker started and was lively against Derby County. But, it\u2019s in stark contrast when he\u2019s stepped on the pitch in Premier League<\/a>. Consequently, it begs the question of how viable he actually is.<\/p>\n

A move isn\u2019t likely, though. That\u2019s according to The Athletic<\/a>, who reported on Tuesday that the forward isn;t looking to leave and Leeds aren\u2019t looking to sell.<\/p>\n

\u201cFarke has made it clear how happy he is with his current squad<\/a> and spoken specifically about the role the Dutch-born forward can still play in the club\u2019s fight for survival,\u201d Beren Cross writes. \u201cLeeds will evaluate any incoming offers this month<\/a>, but the proposals would have to suit Piroe. As it stands, the No 10 has made it clear he wishes to stay and fight for his place in the second half of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Will Leeds United be tempted into selling Joel Piroe this month?<\/p>\n

Here, I think we\u2019re looking at the player holding all the cards for a decision. Leeds seem content either way, whether that\u2019s selling or keeping Piroe.<\/p>\n

Piroe\u2019s stance appears to be preferring to stay put, but if Leeds do pursue another striker (which they should<\/a>) then it leaves him further down the pecking order.<\/p>\n

Should a top-end Championship team or European side fancy signing him, it\u2019s an opportunity to play more football instead of risking a brief stagnation in his career.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a crucial year for Piroe with a World Cup opportunity suddenly opening up. So, he\u2019ll understandably pick carefully what to do next.<\/p>\n
