A road was taped off in Stockport on Tuesday (January 13) with emergency crews called to the scene following an incident. Fire crews, police and paramedics raced to Lower Bents Lane at around 8.30pm.<\/p>\n

It followed reports of a crash involving a number of vehicles. The road was taped off from the junction with Stockport<\/a> Road East and Redhouse Lane in Bredbury.<\/p>\n

One person was treated by paramedics at the scene following the collision, which involved two vehicles. Witnesses reported seeing a large emergency response with police cordoning off the area.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cShortly after 8.30pm on Tuesday 13 January, two fire engines from Whitehill and Stockport fire stations were called to attend a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Lower Bents Lane, Stockport.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrews arrived quickly and worked alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police<\/a> to make the area safe. One casualty was treated by North West Ambulance Service at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately 45 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
