Justin Baldoni is attempting to expose Taylor Swift and more of Blake Lively\u2019s A-list pals in his messy legal war with his \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d co-star.<\/p>\n
The actor is opposed to public figures, like Swift and Ryan Reynolds, having their names redacted in his and Blake Lively\u2019s court battle, according to documents obtained by TMZ<\/a> Tuesday.<\/p>\n Baldoni filed an objection on Monday to Lively\u2019s request to hide the identities of A-listers involved in their legal battle<\/a>.<\/p>\n Justin Baldoni, (pictured above in August 2024), has objected to Blake Lively\u2019s request to keep her famous friends\u2019 identities hidden in their legal battle. Getty Images<\/p>\n Lively, specifcally, called her husband, Ryan Reynolds<\/a>, an \u201cinnocent third party\u201d in her and Baldoni\u2019s ongoing proceedings.<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s lawyers have since claimed \u201cnot one\u00a0of [Lively\u2019s] requests meets the [court\u2019s] high standard for sealing at this stage.\u201d<\/p>\n In regard to Reynolds specifically, the \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum\u2019s legal team pointed out that Lively\u2019s husband was involved in making \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d from rewriting a scene to confronting Baldoni<\/a> over a body-shaming comment.<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s lawyers claimed Monday that Lively\u2019s attempt to seal records is meant to save the public images of her A-list friends, whom she allegedly \u201crecruited as advocates on her behalf against the Wayfarer Parties in her attempt to take over the film.\u201d<\/p>\n He specifically took issue with Lively labeling her husband, Ryan Reynolds, (pictured above in May 2025), an \u201cinnocent third party\u201d in the legal battle. GC Images<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s lawyers pointed out that Reynolds rewrote an \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d scene and confronted Baldoni over a comment about Lively\u2019s body. Blake Lively\/Instagram<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tWant more celebrity and pop culture news?\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStart your day with Page Six Daily.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\tThanks for signing up!\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n They requested the majority of Lively\u2019s sealing requests be rejected, pointing out that the identities of potential witnesses \u2014 which have included Swift, Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt and America Ferrera \u2014 are already public.<\/p>\n Reps for Baldoni, Lively, Reynolds and Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n Swift was first dragged into Lively and Baldoni\u2019s feud<\/a> in January 2025 when the former \u201cMan Enough\u201d podcast host filed his countersuit against the \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum.<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s filing included text messages referencing a moment when he allegedly felt \u201cpressured\u201d by Reynolds and Swift, whom the actress called her protective \u201cdragons,\u201d to respond positively to a scene Lively rewrote.<\/p>\n The filing claimed Lively, (pictured above in December 2025), is trying to save her pals\u2019 public images. GC Images<\/p>\n Reps for Swift, Lively, (pictured above in October 2023), Reynolds and Baldoni have yet to respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment. Charles Wenzelberg \/ New York Post<\/p>\n \u201cThe message could not have been clearer,\u201d Baldoni\u2019s lawyer wrote last year. \u201cBaldoni was not just dealing with Lively. He was also facing Lively\u2019s \u2018dragons,\u2019 two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who were not afraid to make things very difficult for him.\u201d<\/p>\n While he accused Lively of defamation and extortion in the lawsuit, it was dismissed<\/a> in June 2025.<\/p>\n Lively\u2019s lawsuit<\/a> \u2014 over alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and lost wages \u2014 remains ongoing, with trial set<\/a> for May 18, 2026.<\/p>\n Baldoni first dragged Swift into the ongoing litigation in January 2025. GC Images<\/p>\n He claimed Lively, (pictured above in January 2024), used Swift and Reynolds to \u201cpressure\u201d him into liking her rewritten scene. Christopher Peterson \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n Her close friendship with Swift, however, has taken a turn<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve had no contact<\/a>,\u201d a source told Page Six in October 2025 \u2014 but Swift has continued to come up in the litigation as recently as last month.<\/p>\n In December 2025, Page Six obtained Baldoni\u2019s deposition, which referenced a message he sent a pal about Lively using the \u201cTaylor Swift playbook\u201d<\/a> by \u201cplaying the victim\u201d over their \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d feud.<\/p>\n \u201cIf she doesn\u2019t promote the movie, she can leak that I\u2019m a bad person or that she felt unsafe with me and all the stuff she has on me,\u201d Baldoni wrote. \u201cThen she\u2019s the victim. So she can ask for whatever she wants because she knows I know.\u201d<\/p>\n While Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit was dropped, Lively\u2019s remains \u2014 and the duo, (pictured above in January 2024), will begin their trial in May. GC Images<\/p>\n As for Lively\u2019s friendship with Swift, (pictured above in September 2023), we hear the duo have \u201cno contact.\u201d GC Images<\/p>\n During the deposition, he recalled \u201cspinning\u201d out as \u201csomebody small in the industry \u2026 dealing with a titan like Ms. Lively and some of the most powerful people in the world, which are her best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift was subpoenaed as a witness<\/a> in May 2025, although the summons was dropped<\/a> the following month.<\/p>\n
