Police are investigating after a body was found in a country park.<\/p>\n

The emergency services were called to Woodgate Valley Country Park, which borders Quinton and Bartley Green, around 3.20pm on Wednesday (Jan 14) to reports of a body in one of the ponds.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> is treating the death as unexplained and enquiries are underway to establish what has happened.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police said in a statement: “We’ve been called after a body was discovered in the water in Woodgate Valley Country Park around 3.40pm today (14 January).<\/p>\n

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained as we seek to establish the full circumstances.”<\/p>\n
