Edinburgh police<\/a> have partially closed a busy city centre road on Wednesday evening. The incident, which caused emergency services to close a section of the road, took place at around 7pm on January 14 on Fountainbridge near Tollcross.<\/p>\n

The exact nature of the incident is currently not known, however, one resident reported seeing a vehicle with a “dent in it” near the busy junction.<\/p>\n

In pictures taken from the scene, three police cars and two officers are in attendance. A passer-by claims they saw a road closure sign being put in place.<\/p>\n

They said: “There was one car that appeared to have a dent in it then three police cars. As I was passing two police on motorbikes turned up and they had a sign up because part of the road is closed.”<\/p>\n

Police Scotland<\/a> have been approached for comment.<\/p>\n
