{"id":697038,"date":"2026-01-15T06:10:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T06:10:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/697038\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T06:10:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T06:10:14","slug":"latest-exhibitions-and-workshops-at-arnolfini-bristol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/697038\/","title":{"rendered":"Latest exhibitions and workshops at Arnolfini Bristol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Emma Talbot&#8217;s Everything is Energy remains open for visitors until February 8, exploring themes such as life, energy, and human connection with the natural and technological worlds.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Echoes exhibition concludes on January 25, the final day to view this assembly of works from the Jerwood Collection that delve into themes of memory, the cyclicality of life, and our connection to nature and place.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The live programme includes an assortment of activities for visitors to experience.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  On January 24, the Shui Mo Ensemble, known for their music blending Western and East Asian traditions, will return with what should be a transcultural music exchange event.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Shui Mo Ensemble (Image: Arnolfini)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  On February 5, Kamina Walton and Hannah Sullivan will present Catching Sight of My Reflection, a work-in-progress exploring the ageing process of women through improvised movement and shared writing.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Arnolfini&#8217;s engagement programme goes beyond picturesque exhibitions by also integrating programmes to foster deeper engagement with the artwork.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It includes\u00a0audio-described tours with a Spanish-language guided tour of Everything is Energy, as well as a series of creative workshops and participatory sessions organised throughout the month.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Green Team: Woven Narratives &#8211; Weaving Stories Against Fast Fashion on\u00a0Friday, January 23 will explore the environmental and social impact of fast fashion in a hands-on workshop with artist Pearl Oakwood.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Participants will learn basic carpet-weaving using recycled textiles, share stories about clothing, and reflect on sustainability through slow, mindful making.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Portrait Club on\u00a0Sunday, January 25 is\u00a0a relaxed afternoon drawing faces, meeting new people, and getting creative in Arnolfini\u2019s theatre.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It is open to all levels, with all materials and drawing boards provided.
