Charlton Athletic have signed striker Lyndon Dykes from fellow Championship side Birmingham City on a permanent transfer.<\/b><\/p>\n

The 30-year-old Scotland international has penned a deal with the Addicks until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

He becomes Nathan Jones’ second signing of the January transfer window after Ipswich Town defender Harry Clarke joined on a six-month loan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dykes made 24 appearances for Blues this season but has not scored since September. Altogether, he scored seven goals in 55 games for the club.<\/p>\n

“He’s a big, physical striker who works hard, scores goals and brings plenty of Championship experience, giving us another strong option in attack,” Addicks boss Nathan Jones told Charlton’s website, external<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dykes began his career at Queen of the South before moving to Scottish Premiership side Livingston, where he scored 14 goals in 36 appearances. <\/p>\n

He joined Queens Park Rangers in 2020 and made 165 appearances for the R’s, scoring 37 goals, before moving to St Andrew’s in 2024.<\/p>\n
