{"id":698367,"date":"2026-01-15T20:14:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T20:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/698367\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T20:14:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T20:14:17","slug":"das-deutche-finale-2026-competing-acts-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/698367\/","title":{"rendered":"Das Deutche Finale 2026 competing acts unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SWR, the German broadcaster, has unveiled the \u2018Eurovision Song Contest- Das Deutche Finale 2026 competing acts and further details regarding the German national.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2026 German national final is scheduled to be held on <strong>Saturday 28th February<\/strong> in Berlin with a total 9 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026.<strong>\u00a0Barbara Sch\u00f6neberger <\/strong>and<strong> Hazel Brugger <\/strong>(Eurovision 2025 co-host) will co-host the competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hazel Brugger <\/strong>says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Eurovision is when Europe listens and Germany hopes. You know: music and satire know no boundaries, but taste certainly does. I\u2019m looking forward to our first time co-hosting. The fact that I was chosen means I have a huge amount of trust placed in me \u2013 or that the organizers couldn\u2019t find anyone else. Eurovision creates a sense of community, a feeling of \u2018us,\u2019 even if it\u2019s only when it comes to secondhand embarrassment, but still. If one of the nine acts manages to leave Barbara or me, us two chatterboxes, speechless, they\u2019ll have my utmost respect.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Barbara Sch\u00f6neberger <\/strong>says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>This year the Eurovision Song Contest turns 70 \u2013 70 years full of glitter, drama, and of course, tons of hits you just have to sing along to! I\u2019m really looking forward to reminiscing about the very best moments, the biggest earworms, and the absolutely craziest outfits during the German national final. After all, Eurovision is also about laughing, a little bit of banter, and enjoying all the little quirks! And the best part: Hazel Brugger is by my side this year. Phew, the burden of finding the perfect act for Vienna has been lifted off my shoulders.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The 2026 German Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined international jury\/ public voting deliberation.
