{"id":698688,"date":"2026-01-15T23:36:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T23:36:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/698688\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T23:36:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T23:36:10","slug":"product-recalled-due-to-undeclared-ingredients-that-may-cause-suicidal-ideation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/698688\/","title":{"rendered":"Product recalled due to undeclared ingredients that may cause \u2018suicidal ideation\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"X4YH4VOVJFDLLCDEDVL23FNJAM\">The Food and Drug Administration has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/modern-warrior-recalls-modern-warrior-ready-dietary-supplement-due-undeclared-14-dmaa-and-aniracetam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/modern-warrior-recalls-modern-warrior-ready-dietary-supplement-due-undeclared-14-dmaa-and-aniracetam\">announced<\/a> a recall for a dietary supplement with undeclared ingredients that can cause life-threatening events including \u201csuicidal ideation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"WDCAP3F7J5BE3I6DWE7C3TNZV4\">Modern Warrior is recalling all lots of its Modern Warrior Ready products, a dietary supplement available for purchase online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"EVS527VLQFEPJCR3CFPVOA475Q\">The products may contain undeclared traces of tianeptine, 1,4-DMAA and aniracetam, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/modern-warrior-recalls-modern-warrior-ready-dietary-supplement-due-undeclared-14-dmaa-and-aniracetam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/modern-warrior-recalls-modern-warrior-ready-dietary-supplement-due-undeclared-14-dmaa-and-aniracetam\">press release<\/a> from the Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MRIDGYKV2NBOLHNX6EC7IH7AMU\">The Food and Drug Administration said that tianeptine can cause life-threatening events including suicidal ideation or behavior in children, teenagers and adults 25 years old and younger. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"AWIF2O2QTBHAFPJCANYTFACC3I\">In addition, 1,4-DMAA use can elevate blood pressure and could lead to cardiovascular problems, including heart attacks, shortness of breath and tightening of the chest, according to the Food and Drug Administration. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ITIVC5KASVEFNOSYAKHBBT7VDM\">The recalled product was distributed to customers nationwide from April 2022 to Dec. 8, 2025. The product was sold in a black plastic supplement bottle with a black lid sealed with black and gold shrink wrap.
