Prince William and Kate Middleton\u2019s decision to hire a crisis management expert was reportedly done to get ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s potential return to the UK<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales recently hired Liza Ravenscroft, who has a background in crisis management, the Mail on Sunday<\/a> reported last week.<\/p>\n

Although the royal couple hardly has bad press, Ravenscroft\u2019s hiring has to do with Harry and Markle, a Daily Mail report<\/a> published Thursday claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam and Catherine know that there may be trouble ahead, and it\u2019s likely to come from a familiar source \u2013 Prince Harry and Meghan,\u201d the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

The report claimed William and Middleton\u2019s move is meant to get ahead of Harry and Markle\u2019s campaign to be welcomed back to the UK. BACKGRID<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Establishment \u2018plot\u2019 to bring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back to Britain is gathering pace, with a decision expected within the next couple of weeks on the reinstatement of the couple\u2019s automatic armed police protection \u2013 paid for by British taxpayers \u2013 when they make return visits to this country,\u201d the report continued.<\/p>\n

The outlet claimed recent stories of Markle potentially returning to the UK this summer and Harry reportedly inviting his father, King Charles, to the 2026 Invictus Games, <\/a>was a way to put pressure on the royal family to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe plot is known as \u2018Project Thaw\u2019 because the aim is to \u2018warm up\u2019 the duke\u2019s and duchess\u2019s frosty relationships with the rest of the Royal Family and with the British people,\u201d the outlet claimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry and Meghan returning to set up their \u2018rival\u2019 royal court at the same time as trying to make a fortune for themselves has the makings of a future crisis for the monarchy,\u201d the outlet continued.<\/p>\n

Reps for the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn\u2019t immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n
