Police have issued CCTV of a man they want to speak to after an object was thrown at Sheffield United players during the derby last November.<\/p>\n
South Yorkshire Police <\/a>have launched their investigation after an object was launched at Sheffield United<\/a> players during the team’s match with Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> in Hillsborough on November 23. The police are now looking to identify a man, and have released a CCTV image.<\/p>\n They believe the man may be able to help with their investigation. He is white, in his 30s with dark hair, a dark beard, and a moustache. He was wearing a grey baseball cap, black shorts, and a black coat.<\/p>\n A police spokesman said: “We are releasing an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with an incident at the Sheffield Derby in November 2025.<\/p>\n “During the Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield United match at Hillsborough on 23 November, a man is alleged to have thrown an object at the Sheffield United players.<\/p>\n “Enquiries are ongoing and officers are now releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to as it is believed he may be able to help with enquiries.<\/p>\n “The man is described as white, in his 30s with dark hair, a dark beard and moustache.
