(Photo: Chris Moorhouse)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bristol City successfully advanced to the third round with a 2-0 win over Portsmouth, thanks to goals from Maria Farrugia and Mari Ward.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, they won and lost once in the league either side of Christmas; a 3-2 defeat at Crystal Palace ended their 2025, before a 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest started their 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Robins have made a trio of January signings, as Lioness Katie Robinson made a statement return on a permanent deal.
