The 49ers finally appear to be backing Daniel Farke this January in Leeds United\u2019s attempt to stay in the Premier League.<\/strong><\/p>\n Leeds have outlined many transfer targets<\/a> to pursue this window, with a heavy emphasis on attacking additions in particular.<\/p>\n Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been on fire for Leeds<\/a>, but Farke has still made it clear to Paraag Marathe and Co. that he wants recruits in forward areas.<\/p>\n Leeds<\/a> are sitting fairly comfortably above the relegation zone, but football changes quickly, and the 49ers have wasted no time in adding to Farke<\/a>\u2018s squad.<\/p>\n The signing of Facundo Buonanotte<\/a> on Thursday is certainly a step in the right direction.<\/p>\n \u270d\ufe0f #LUFC<\/a> is delighted to announce the arrival of Facundo Buonanotte on a loan deal until the end of the 2025\/26 campaign<\/p>\n \u2014 Leeds United (@LUFC) January 15, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n View Tweet<\/p>\n Marc Guiu sends Facundo Buonanotte a message of support after Leeds move<\/p>\n Leeds announced that Buonanotte has signed on loan<\/a> until the end of the season, after Brighton cut his stay at Chelsea short to send the Argentine to LS11.<\/p>\n The 21-year-old had only played once for Chelsea in the Premier League, and with the arrival of Liam Rosenior, it was unclear whether the youngster would be central to the new manager\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n Luckily for the Whites, Buonanotte\u2019s rare start against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup proved why Farke will be delighted to finally get his man.<\/p>\n Buonanotte\u2019s stats vs Charlton<\/strong><\/p>\n Buonanotte took to Instagram to share his delight at joining Leeds, while posting multiple pictures of his arrival.<\/p>\n His former Chelsea team-mate, Marc Guiu<\/a>, then sent Farke\u2019s new signing a message of support that read: \u201cLet\u2019s go, my Tete.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTete\u201d is a term of endearment in Spanish, often referring to a loved one.<\/p>\n Tottenham\u2019s Alejo Veliz also congratulates Buonanotte <\/p>\n Buonanotte will provide Farke an extra spark in the final third, and may provide healthy competition for the likes of Brenden Aaronson and Lukas Nmecha in the second striker role.<\/p>\n The Brighton loanee already has plenty of Premier League experience with the Seagulls and Leicester City, and will hope for the best of his qualities to shine through at Elland Road.<\/p>\n In another loving message, Buonanotte\u2019s Argentine compatriot and Tottenham striker, Alejo Veliz<\/a>, commented on the new Leeds star\u2019s post.<\/p>\n Veliz, who is currently on loan himself with Rosario Central, commented: \u201cCute my brother, cute my brother.\u201d<\/p>\n The Whites will be hoping for the youngster to hit the ground running, as he will be eligible to make his debut against Fulham on Saturday.<\/p>\n Stay up to date this winter with our Leeds transfer tracker<\/a>.
