\n Oladapo\u00a0was back in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court<\/a> five years after being convicted of scamming vulnerable women on the internet.\n<\/p>\n

\n Oladapo\u00a0and then co-accused Sidney Ochouba used bogus names to con seven victims between 2014 and 2015.\n<\/p>\n

\n The men posed as men apparently stranded while working in Syria for the World Health Organisation (WHO).\n<\/p>\n

\n The women had turned to the dating sites including Plenty More Fish looking for company.\n<\/p>\n

\n One had described herself feeling “lonely” after her husband passed away.\n<\/p>\n

\n Prosecutors said \u00a335,000 was gained from the callous scam.\n<\/p>\n

\n The duo were found guilty of being involved in the fraud as well as acquiring criminal property.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ochouba – a former architect graduate –\u00a0 was locked up for 30 months while toilet attendant Oladapo\u00a0was sentenced to three years.\n<\/p>\n

\n Oladapo\u00a0was found guilty of his latest charges of assaulting the boy to his injury and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.\n<\/p>\n

\n Sheriff Helen McGinty ordered Oladapo to do 100 hours of unpaid work and put him under supervision for one year.\n<\/p>\n

\n The trial previously heard that\u00a0Oladapo\u00a0woke the boy up during the night and took him down to the living room.\n<\/p>\n

\n He ordered the teenager who was in his boxer shorts to kneel down and raise his arms while he faced a wall.\n<\/p>\n

\n Prosecutor Amy Clyne said in her closing submission: “The boy recalled being slapped on the face with a slipper\n<\/p>\n

\n “He said on trying to block the third slap, he described\u00a0Oladapo\u00a0as being enraged at this and told him he was going to kill him.”\n<\/p>\n

\n The boy was chased upstairs by\u00a0Oladapo\u00a0before he barricaded himself in a room with a hammer.\n<\/p>\n

\n Oladapo\u00a0was able to gain entry after he kicked the door in before the boy fled back downstairs where he got rid of the hammer.\n<\/p>\n

\n Oladapo\u00a0continued to shout at him and cornered the boy.\n<\/p>\n

\n Miss Clyne said: “He grabbed the boy with both hands on his neck then pushed him to the floor with a firm grip.\n<\/p>\n

\n “He then described\u00a0Oladapo\u00a0putting his foot on his neck and applied pressure.”\n<\/p>\n

\n The boy told the court in his evidence that he felt like he was “going dizzy.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n Miss Clyne stated: “He managed to get away and he ran outside in his boxer shorts to hide behind a car.\n<\/p>\n

\n “The boy said he was shocked and felt scared at the time.”\n<\/p>\n

\n A woman told the court in her evidence that she saw the boy also being punched during the attack which resulted in a nose bleed.\n<\/p>\n

\n The boy also suffered scratches to his skin as well as pain to his hip.\n<\/p>\n

\n Oladapo, in his evidence, accepted asking the boy to kneel and hitting him on the face with a slipper.\n<\/p>\n
