Now, the\u00a0race\u2019s full route through the UK has been unveiled.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The last time that the Tour de France went through Britain was more than a decade ago in 2014,\u00a0when\u00a0the cyclists\u00a0raced from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/yorkshire\" data-modified-href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/yorkshire\" data-modified- target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yorkshire<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\" data-modified-href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\" data-modified- target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London<\/a>. It also went through England in 1974, 1994 and 2007, but\u00a0next year will mark the very first time that it passes through Scotland and Wales, and the first time that the Tour de France Femmes has ever been\u00a0in Old Blighty.<\/p>\n<p>For both the men and women\u2019s events, there will be three stages in Britain. They\u2019ll see cyclists traversing stunning\u00a0national parks, passing by\u00a0magnificent\u00a0castles, speeding through cities and taking on some gruelling inclines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> For the men, the first stage will go 184km through Scotland, the second 223km through northwest England and the third 223 km through Wales (which\u00a0looks to\u00a0be the most challenging with\u00a0the most categorised climbs of all three stages). As for the women, they\u2019ll travel from Leeds Civil Hall and\u00a0through\u00a0the Pennines, Manchester, the Peak District and Sheffield over\u00a0two\u00a0days before racing through London on the third day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Simon Morton, UK Sport\u2019s director of events, said: \u2018Our vision was to host a massive sporting event that would genuinely thread together the countries, cities, and communities of Great Britain. The route details do just that, enabling us to reach, unite, and inspire people right across the country \u2013 providing moments of joy for millions, bringing communities together, and delivering lasting benefits beyond race day.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The full Tour de France 2027 route through Britain\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here are all the details of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s route that have been unveiled so far, with all the locations the race will be passing through.\u00a0There are a number of big categorised climbs on the routes, including the \u2018C\u00f4te de Melrose\u2019, the
