Leeds United will officially be a Premier League team after the Plymouth game on Saturday, as an exciting summer awaits.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether that summer includes Daniel Farke<\/a> is another question, but Leeds<\/a> can still plan ahead.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly what the owners are doing as Jamie Vardy could join Leeds<\/a> in what would be an extraordinary move.<\/p>\n

No doubt Vardy\u2019s move would be welcomed by Farke but the German is probably treading lightly due to murmurs around the club.<\/p>\n

The fact it could be his final game for Leeds vs Plymouth is staggering, and it\u2019s certainly shocked Eddie Gray<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His future will be being considered as we speak, but Farke will just have his eyes on the Championship title.<\/p>\n

In what has been a topsy-turvy campaign, only one of Burnley and Leeds can win it, and maybe Farke claiming the trophy will give the owners enough reason to keep him.<\/p>\n

Someone who hopes this is the case is Leeds legend Gray, who has already backed Farke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But now speaking to The Scottish Sun, Gray gives another reason as to why Farke deserves his chance in the top flight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been a few things in the press about the manager being under pressure? The manager has done terrific,\u201d Gray said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s getting paid to do one thing, get us out this division, so he deserves a shot at the big league.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Leeds would lose money sacking Farke which isn\u2019t smart<\/p>\n

Going into the new Premier League season, Leeds plan to spend \u00a3100m<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This means that Paraag Marathe<\/a> will need as much firepower as he can get, and potentially selling Mateo Joseph for \u00a312.75m<\/a> could help towards that.<\/p>\n

But sacking Farke will not help towards that.<\/p>\n

The owners would be silly to even consider the prospect as the 49ers would pay Farke a year\u2019s salary<\/a>, whereas that money could be put to good use on transfers.<\/p>\n

Farke\u2019s last five games at Leeds should be enough to competely wipe the question out of the hierarchy\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n
