Fears of a feud within the Beckham family<\/a> are growing after questions emerged over whether Brooklyn attended his father David\u2019s 50th birthday celebrations in London.<\/p>\n

The football icon is said to be \u201cdevastated\u201d over an alleged rift between his two eldest sons, Brooklyn, 26, and Romeo, 22.<\/p>\n

David and wife Victoria reportedly hired a \u00a340 million Brigadier Global 6000 private jet for his birthday celebrations, spending the afternoon wine tasting at a vineyard in Bordeaux before dining at his favourite restaurant in Paris. The family later returned to London for a lavish birthday party, The Sun reports.<\/p>\n

However, Brooklyn did not publicly wish his father a happy birthday on social media<\/a> \u2014 the first time he has failed to do so.<\/p>\n

A source said: \u201cDavid had the most incredible day, and felt truly spoilt.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe immediate family flew out from Oxford, spent the afternoon supping wines \u2014 even Harper had a little sip \u2014 and then jetted to Paris in the evening for dinner at one of his favourite restaurants. Victoria went all out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was pretty much a perfect day, although sadly Brooklyn was unable to make it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The silence follows Brooklyn\u2019s absence from Victoria\u2019s birthday last month<\/a>, when he and wife Nicola Peltz<\/a> were seen partying at the Coachella music festival. Similarly, neither David nor Victoria posted congratulations online as Brooklyn and Nicola marked their third wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n

Despite the tension, the source said there has been \u201csome contact\u201d, and both Brooklyn and Nicola were invited to David\u2019s London birthday party \u2014 though they had not responded.<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cSo it\u2019s all very up in the air \u2014 there\u2019s certainly a lot of tension there right now, but David just wants to focus on the positives, and what will be will be.\u201d<\/p>\n

The alleged rift comes after Brooklyn and Nicola missed a family dinner held in April ahead of David\u2019s milestone birthday. Romeo and Cruz attended the gathering at Cipriani Downtown in Miami, joined by their girlfriends Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, while Brooklyn and Nicola remained in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, TMZ has reported that Brooklyn and Romeo have fallen out over Romeo\u2019s relationship with Kim Turnbull \u2014 who previously dated Brooklyn\u2019s friend, Rocco Ritchie.<\/p>\n
