Translink is advising passengers there will be changes to some train services over two weekends next month due to essential works.<\/p>\n
The company says it’s committed to maintaining and enhancing Northern Ireland’s<\/a> rail infrastructure to deliver a high quality, safe and sustainable public transport<\/a> network today, and for future generations.<\/p>\n Translink will be carrying out works at three locations on the railway network; between Lanyon Place Station and Bangor<\/a>; between Coleraine<\/a> and Derry~Londonderry and on the Larne Line between Carrickfergus and Larne Harbour across two weekends in late February: Saturday 21st\/Sunday 22nd February and Saturday 28th February\/Sunday 1st March.<\/p>\n READ MORE: MLA hits out as Airport train funding not included in draft Budget<\/a>READ MORE: Details on new health and safety upgrade on Translink trains<\/a><\/p>\n The following bus substitution services will be provided for customers:<\/p>\n Bus substitutions will serve the main A2 road bus stops as well as Titanic Quarter <\/a>station (Sydenham Rd). These bus substitutions will meet connecting trains at Lanyon Place <\/a>Station for rail services to\/from Belfast Grand Central Station<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last service on Friday night (10.43pm) will operate as a bus substitution from Coleraine to the NW Transport Hub.<\/p>\n Bus substitutions will meet Belfast-bound trains at Coleraine. Bus substitutions will operate a direct bus service between Coleraine and NW Transport Hub as well as a stopper service for Castlerock and Bellarena passengers.<\/p>\n Bus substitutions will serve main road bus stops but will call at Whitehead and Larne<\/a> town train stations.
