Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 cut short a visit to the United States on Friday after falling ill, forcing the cancellation of planned meetings with U.S. officials, Serbian media reported.<\/p>\n

Vu\u010di\u0107 suddenly became unwell Friday afternoon and, after consulting with doctors, made the decision to return to Belgrade, state broadcaster RTS reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Serbian president had planned to meet with several senior Republican Party officials<\/a> and also hoped to see<\/a> U.S. President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, the Blic outlet<\/a> reported. He arrived in Florida on Wednesday and met with former New York Mayor\u00a0Rudy Giuliani\u00a0and Serbian entrepreneurs from the U.S., according to the Blic report<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
