(Image: X) The UAE have earned ODI status for the 2025-29 cycle, replacing the USA among the 16 women&#8217;s teams with ICC ODI status, effective May 12. The list includes five Associate members, with Thailand, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, and Scotland retaining their positions alongside new entrant UAE.<br \/>Thailand and Scotland secured their ODI status through their performance at the recent women&#8217;s ODI World Cup qualifier. Teams must play a minimum of eight ODIs over three to four years to maintain or achieve a ranking.<br \/>Australia continue to dominate the rankings with 299 rating points, increasing their lead over second-placed England (279) from 18 to 20 points after the update.<br \/>The USA are currently engaged in a series against Zimbabwe, where they lost the T20I series 2-1 but won the first ODI by seven wickets on Thursday.
