The appeal with this type of haircut, says Northwood, is that it\u2019s a low-maintenance show-stopper. \u201cIt\u2019s quite a stand out hair cut\u2014the sort of cut you get stopped on the street about,\u201d he says. \u201cHowever, it\u2019s quite low-maintenance, versatile, and effortless, which very much adheres to my undone hair approach.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also called the \u201cParis, Texas bob,\u201d the chunky bob is still very much in demand. It\u2019s easy to see why: this sort of bob can be shaped to fit any vibe, whether you\u2019re going glam like Zendaya in Prada<\/a>, or prefer a more casual, undone feel, \u00e0 la Gigi Hadid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still think bobs are really relevant,\u201d says hairstylist Luke Hersheson<\/a>, who\u2019s done literally everyone\u2019s hair, from Keira Knightley to Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller. \u201cThe common theme is that they\u2019re all quite chunky, a bit hacked, a little imperfect,\u201d he says, \u201clike Nastassja Kinski in Paris, Texas\u2026 that very chunky bob that feels a little lived-in and doesn\u2019t feel too razored, mixed with a natural, undone texture that makes it feel quite modern.\u201d<\/p>\n
