Fresh out of the Celebrity Big Brother house, Ella Rae Wise<\/a> isn\u2019t holding back. She opens up on everything from the Chris Hughes<\/a> and JoJo Siwa drama, including giving her six-word verdict on Jojo’s ‘relationship’ with Chris, saying: “I think they’re still good friends”.<\/p>\n

She also details her emotional split from TOWIE co-star Dan Edgar<\/a>, who she had been in a relationship for 18 months until they suddenly called it quits days before her CBB stint. In a heartfelt interview, the 24-year-old Londoner talks exclusively to OK! <\/a>about heartbreak, healing, and why CBB felt like therapy.<\/p>\n

And now, single and stronger than ever, Ella is ready for her next chapter. She also hints at future TOWIE drama as she refers to “setting the record straight” in the next series. Plus she reveals there’s another reality show that she’d love to take part in one day.<\/p>\n

How are you feeling now your Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> experience is over?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Relaxed. Rejuvenated. It was quite overwhelming, but all in all good. When I came out, I spent a few nights at my mum\u2019s. I just chilled out and went back to being a kid. She waited on me hand and foot!<\/p>\n

How do you feel about the reaction to you on the show?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019d say 95% good and 5% not so great. People might have got the wrong end of the stick. But the majority\u2019s been good. I\u2019m proud of myself and glad I did it.<\/p>\n

Some viewers thought you were jealous of Chris and JoJo\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not one bit! God knows where they got that one from. That was a big surprise to me. I wasn\u2019t attracted to Chris in any way, shape or form. I didn\u2019t really understand what I\u2019d be jealous of. That confused me a hell of a lot.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your take on Chris and JoJo?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I think they\u2019re still good friends. Hopefully they\u2019ll see each other now she\u2019s back in LA. It\u2019s nice they formed a tight friendship and could lean on each other for support. It\u2019s 100% platonic.<\/p>\n

What are you most proud of from your time in the house?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t afraid to show my emotions. A lot of people don\u2019t like to do that publicly, but it shows that I feel for myself and others, that I haven\u2019t changed who I am just because I\u2019ve got a platform. And I\u2019ve made some amazing friends.<\/p>\n

You did become emotional at times \u2013 especially talking about breaking up with Dan Edgar…<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think people forget that I went in after a really fresh break-up. What\u2019s hurtful is hearing people say I split with Dan just to go in there \u2013 with some big game plan. That was never the case. Things hadn\u2019t been right for a couple of weeks behind closed doors. It was a mutual decision. We haven\u2019t fallen out, we\u2019re still amicable.<\/p>\n

What do you think went wrong between you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometimes you\u2019re just not right for each other, and that\u2019s OK. A lot of my upset in the house came from what I\u2019d gone through before going in, and having no connection to the outside world<\/a> \u2013 not knowing how he was feeling, or him knowing how I was feeling.<\/p>\n

What did you learn about relationships in there?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought about how I need to heal from past relationships before I move on to new ones. Maybe the reason I haven\u2019t given 100% to someone else is because I haven\u2019t given 100% to myself yet. I want to create my own path \u2013 without a man. I can do it, so why am I not doing that? I\u2019ve been in this showbiz world since I was 18 and I\u2019ve done a lot. I\u2019m 24 now. I should be living my life! If I don\u2019t put myself first, how can I expect anyone else to?<\/p>\n

Has your CBB experience changed you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was like therapy for me. And it made me realise I need actual therapy, too. It\u2019s hard, especially at my age \u2013 people might feel embarrassed to admit they need help. But I\u2019m glad I\u2019ve noticed that before it might be too late to change. Just because we put ourselves in front of the world doesn\u2019t mean we know the world inside out. I was only trying to navigate my way through that house. Maybe I was upset and moaning \u2013 but that\u2019s what it does to you! Remember, people only see 45 minutes of a full 24 hours. The public forget that. It\u2019s frustrating.<\/p>\n

Do you have a favourite memory we didn\u2019t see?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had untold belly laughs \u2013 me, Danny [Beard] and Donna [Preston]. Every night we\u2019d meet in the garden, debrief on the day and absolutely howl. I don\u2019t think you saw that, which is a shame. It probably didn\u2019t make for good TV, but we had so much fun.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s talk TOWIE. The season finale\u2019s just aired. How are you feeling about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Watching back my moments with Dan was emotional. I had a lot of feelings and love for him, but if something isn\u2019t right, you don\u2019t stay in it. It\u2019s a blessing we saw that early. I\u2019m looking forward to filming the new series and reuniting with people. It\u2019s time to set the record straight.<\/p>\n

What would you like to do next season?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are things that need to be said, and I hope they will be. People had a lot of opinions, but they only heard one side of the story. That\u2019s not fair.<\/p>\n

You were just 18 when you joined TOWIE \u2013 have you changed over the years?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve grown a lot. I\u2019m more headstrong, thicker-skinned, and really grateful for the opportunities and people I\u2019ve met along the way.<\/p>\n

What would you tell your younger self?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ride the wave \u2013 there\u2019s a lot of light at the end of the tunnel.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next \u2013 would you be up for another reality show?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Definitely! I\u2019d do Love Island<\/a> in a heartbeat. Everyone\u2019s always said, \u201cWhy haven\u2019t you done it?\u201d I think I\u2019d crack it. I love meeting people and I love being around people my age. We\u2019d have the same banter and I\u2019d make new friends.<\/p>\n

If you weren\u2019t in showbiz, what would you be doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m a fully qualified hairdresser. I\u2019ve been qualified since I was 16. It\u2019s a trade I\u2019ll have for life.<\/p>\n

How do you see your next chapter?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to do it for me, not for anyone else. I want to make myself proud and show people that being emotional on telly was worth it. I\u2019d love to do something with an anti-bullying charity.<\/p>\n
