To boost industrial entrepreneurship in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the creation of a \u20b950-crore corpus fund. \u201cThrough the Tata Innovation Hub, we offer guidance, mentoring and support. With fresh ideas, young entrepreneurs can emerge as future industrial leaders,\u201d he said while participating in a vibrant Telugu diaspora meet in Zurich on the first day of his Davos tour on Monday (January 19).<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister highlighted the initiatives in Andhra Pradesh aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. \u201cWe have established the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub and encourage start-up companies. Our government policy promotes \u2018One Family, One Entrepreneur.\u2019 If both spouses are working, one can focus on a business while the other pursues employment,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Andhra Pradesh offers numerous opportunities for business and industry and will support entrepreneurs willing to invest locally or internationally. To support industrial entrepreneurship, the government is setting up a \u20b950-crore corpus fund, he said.<\/p>\n
He detailed Andhra Pradesh\u2019s achievements over the past 18 months, highlighting investments from global giants such as Google and ArcelorMittal, and initiatives in renewable energy, industrial growth and technological innovation.<\/p>\n
The government is focusing on AI, quantum computing, drones, healthcare and agriculture to enhance productivity and public welfare. The State has committed \u20b922 lakh crore in investments, potentially creating 20 lakh jobs, he said.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on his first visit to Davos, Mr. Naidu noted that the presence of Indians, particularly Telugu people, was minimal. \u201cNow, when I see this gathering, it feels as if we are in Vijayawada or Tirupati,\u201d he remarked. He highlighted that Telugu communities exist in 195 countries, and Andhra Pradesh has established Non-Resident Telugu (NRT) networks in 148 of them. Despite being abroad, Telugu people continue to celebrate traditional festivals, preserving cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu concluded by emphasising national pride and the Telugu identity: \u201cOnce the Telugu community achieves progress in all fields, I will be truly happy. The world is now looking towards India. Let everyone come together for the Godavari Pushkarams.\u201d<\/p>\n
