Preference is for dual-listed winner SIRONA<\/strong>, who ended her productive campaign last season with a creditable second in a Group 3 in France.<\/p>\n

She has leading claims on her best form and may well be able to defy top weight on her return to action. Crimson Advocate reappeared with a near-miss in a Listed race at Kempton last month, and she\u2019s feared most ahead of Bright Thunder, who still has potential and is respected back down in class.<\/p>\n

TONY MONTANA <\/strong>started last season with two wins and he was third in major big-field handicaps at York and Goodwood, all over about 1m2f and the latter probably on good to firm; behind, though, at the last two Royal Ascots in his only races on officially good to firm; makes plenty of appeal if the ground is okay.<\/p>\n

CRIMINAL SHORE <\/strong>improved form when upped in trip on handicap debut when finishing well to deny Last Shamardal at Ripon (1m, good) last month; up 5lb but he knuckled down well for that success and could continue on the upgrade in handicaps; shortlisted.<\/p>\n
