David Beckham\u2019s former assistant has made new claims about an alleged affair with the ex-England captain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rebecca Loos worked for Beckham<\/a>, 49, after he signed for Real Madrid<\/a> in 2003 but later made claims about an alleged affair.<\/p>\n

Loos, 47, first spoke out during an interview with Kay Burley on Sky in 2004 \u2013 although Beckham has always denied such claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was an obvious attraction,\u201d Loos said in 2004. \u201cWe spent a lot of time together. We just bonded. We think the same way, made the same jokes, had some kind of connection.<\/p>\n

“He treated me in a special way. Always made sure I was looked after. I began to feel very special.”<\/p>\n

\u201cSeptember 18th,” she added. “We had all been out with a group of people for dinner, having a few drinks and relaxing, there had been some flirting and I was getting a few innuendos but I kept saying, ‘No he doesn’t fancy you’.<\/p>\n

“I would always say to myself \u2018don’t risk your job\u2019 and I knew there was a huge risk involved if I got involved with this man.”<\/p>\n

“That night we just really hit it off,” the former model continued. “It was the first time, we were just locked into each other all night conversation wise. We just connected. People noticed it.”<\/p>\n

Of course, Loos\u2019 claims caused mass press attention and scrutiny on the Beckham family \u2013 namely on David’s wife, Victoria<\/a>, 50, who described the aftermath of the claims as the \u201chardest period\u201d of the pair\u2019s marriage during the 2023 Netflix docuseries \u2018Beckham<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt felt like the world was against us,\u201d said Victoria during the show.<\/p>\n

“We were against each other… Up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.”<\/p>\n

Over 20 years on from her original comments, Loos has sat down with 60 Minutes Australia<\/a> and doubled down on her claims during an interview, which aired on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my opinion, it was a very brave thing to do to go up against them,\u201d said Loos.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers. And all I had on my side was the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Loos, who is journalist Piers Morgan\u2019s second cousin, now lives in Norway and is the mother of two children.<\/p>\n
