Former Masters champion is ready to leave LIV Golf and return to the PGA Tour if he is offered the same deal as Brooks Koepka.<\/p>\n

The five-time Major winner left LIV Golf<\/a> last month and was fast-tracked back to the US circuit under the new Returning Members Program. That allows LIV Golf stars who have won a Major since 2022 to return without serving a ban although there are financial penalties.<\/p>\n

Ryder Cup star Reed won his Green Jacket in 2018 and so is not currently eligible – but he is interested if the rules are changed again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not really a decision for me at the moment,\u201d said the world<\/a> No.41. \u201cI mean, that was for players 2022 and on. [But] I definitely would have to think about it, if that number was down to 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reed was speaking before teeing up at this week\u2019s Hero Dubai Desert Classic – the second of three DP World Tour events he is playing before the LIV Golf season starts on February 4. He played 32 events around the world in 2025, including 18 outside LIV. Asked if he would like to re-join the PGA Tour, the American replied: \u201cOf course. I mean, if it’s up to me, I’d play everywhere. I’m already playing on three tours [LIV, the DP World Tour and the Asian Tour], so why not add one more?”<\/p>\n

Players can’t play both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf so Reed would have to leave the Saudi-backed league.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI always enjoyed my time out there on the PGA Tour. Let’s be honest, it’s the best tour in the world. Look at what they’ve done in golf. You know, I could see myself playing there at some point again.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just never know. Everything’s so fluid, everything’s discombobulated in golf. But at the end of the day, whatever my name’s called, I’m going to show up and play and, you know, try to play the best and not only represent myself, but my family, and also whatever my team [is}.\u201d<\/p>\n

From January 1, LIV Golf have stopped paying the fines of their players so Reed will have to pay about S1m-a-year to keep playing on the DP World Tour.<\/p>\n

But Captain America said: \u201cYeah, starting this year, the fines will go on the players, not on LIV. I hope there is a resolution, I mean, especially for a guy who, you know, has always come over, always supported this tour. I’m still planning on coming over and supporting this tour.
