He also revealed that he weighs 237 pounds and plans to gain another 10 pounds.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dennis Wolf was a top-tier Open threat throughout the 2000s. Despite never winning the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/history-mr-olympia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mr. Olympia<\/a>, he proved himself against legends, from eight-time winner <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/ronnie-coleman-profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ronnie Coleman<\/a> to four-time titleholder <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/15599\/jay-cutler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jay Cutler<\/a>. Wolf\u2019s highest accomplishment came in 2014 when he took out the late <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/shawn-rhoden-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shawn Rhoden<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/cedric-mcmillan-passes-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cedric McMillan<\/a> at the Arnold Classic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The IFBB Pro stepped away from the stage, but has prioritized his fitness and longevity. He <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/dennis-wolf-ripped-upper-body-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maintains a six-pack year-round<\/a> and impressive muscle tone. With time to reflect on his recent workout adjustments, Wolf laid out how he\u2019s managed his gym workload.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dennis Wolf Feels 30 Years Old in Retirement, Says He Works Out 3x Per Week to Stay Lean\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the video, Wolf spoke on reaching a lean 237 pounds, his highest weight since stepping away from the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m trying to stay lean and bad ass. So, I\u2019m weighing around 237 today. So, it\u2019s pretty much a heavy weight for me. Since I retired, I\u2019ve maybe been around 200 pounds for most of the time. In the last couple of years, I was a little skinnier than I am right now. Right now, I feel amazing. I think that\u2019s the weight where I want to be,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?app=desktop&amp;v=kqWW7jAdB3M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m going to gain another at least 10 pounds.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To prioritize recovery, he trains three times per week, as opposed to five or six workouts a week in his prime.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>\u201cThe condition is great. The body responds very well. I do train three times a week. It\u2019s not as I used to do, like training five to six days a week. I need more time to recover, and I think I\u2019ve figured it out, and it works.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Though he\u2019s unsure if he\u2019ll ever come out of retirement, Wolf emphasized that his health couldn\u2019t be better, stating, \u201cI feel like I\u2019m 30 years old.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>\u201cWill I come back or will I ever come back onstage? I\u2019m 47 years old\u2026 so of course, it\u2019s not that easy to make the decision even if I feel great.<\/p>\n<p>I feel really good. Everything is just perfect. I\u2019m really healthy. I checked everything. Everything looks really good. Honestly, I feel like I\u2019m 30 years old.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wolf acknowledges that <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/dennis-wolf-balancing-peds-bodybuilding-not-healthy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bodybuilding is not a healthy sport<\/a>. To help up-and-coming talent, he explained how to balance performance-enhancing drug (PED) use safely. He noted that those who overuse PEDs tend to have shorter careers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Three quality training sessions are all Wolf needs now in retirement.
