<\/p>\n Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals in 2020, a decision that reportedly came with serious repercussions. <\/a>Reflecting on their journey, royal expert Hugo Vickers opined that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at a \u2018crisis point\u2019 as they struggle to stay relevant. He noted that their constant \u2018change in direction\u2019 as celebrities comes with its own set of challenges.<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Royal expert Bronte Coy joined Vickers in The Sun\u2019s<\/a> Royal Exclusive Show with host Matt Wilkinson. Speaking on the Sussexes’ new identities, Vickers claimed, \u201cThe royal family are working for the United Kingdom commonwealth, whereas they’ve taken the celebrity route, which means they have to completely reinvent themselves the whole time to keep in front of the public.\u201d The expert added, \u201cThey’re always changing direction, therefore they must always be at a crisis point. I have a feeling this story is going to end badly, certainly for Prince Harry.\u201d Vickers also argued that Markle\u2019s new Netflix show indicated there wasn\u2019t proper management or a clear course ahead.<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Coy agreed with Vickers and opined that there has been \u2018a lot of redirection\u2019 for the couple after \u2018deals collapsing.\u2019 She explained, \u201cMeghan’s launching a new business that has had a few twists and turns and snafus, and there have been more reports than ever about the state of their relationship both professionally and personally.\u201d Both experts believe that the Sussexes are \u2018relentless and restless,\u2019 a claim first made by royal author Tom Bower. Vickers asserted, \u201cThat has to add a lot of pressure, and it also could be the fact they don’t seem to have landed on paths…It doesn’t seem like they’ve really figured out exactly who they want to be after leaving the royal family.\u201d<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Recently, Bower had claimed that Markle wants to be a \u2018billionaire celebrity’<\/a>. He told The Mirror,<\/a> \u201cHe [Harry] has spent his whole life never having a penny in his pocket\u2026So he doesn’t understand where she [Markle] is coming from, which is that she worked phenomenally hard, struggled hard, and was constantly humiliated.\u201d The biographer argued that the Sussexes’ marriage is at a \u2018tipping point\u2019 following their dramatic royal exit, and suggested that this may be why Markle is pursuing a unique professional path, which is at odds with what Harry wants.<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Bower, previously in his book Yes Ma\u2019am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, had also claimed that Markle was allegedly not impressed when she came to know that her royal husband was not a billionaire.<\/a> As per the Irish Star<\/a>, he penned, \u201cMeghan Markle had a typically American view of the royal family before she joined it.
