A schoolboy was attacked near a shopping centre last night. At around 6pm on Thursday, January 22, police officers were called to Eccleston Street, near to Prescot<\/a> shopping centre, to reports a 13-year-old boy had been assaulted by around four to five men who had been riding bikes.<\/p>\n The victim<\/a> sustained small cuts<\/a> to his head and mouth and was taken to hospital to be assessed. CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing.
