This is the <strong>Jewellery Quarter<\/strong>. Specifically, the first hospitality venue at the new development complex, The Goodsyard. With<strong> \u2018vieni\u2019 literally meaning \u2018come in\u2019<\/strong> in Italian, there\u2019s no excuse not to try out Angelina Adamo\u2019s <strong>Sicilian-inspired restaurant<\/strong>, inspired by everything her nonna ever taught her.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vieni<\/strong> is designed to feel like stepping into a nonna\u2019s house. An open kitchen sits at the heart of the 1,485 sq ft space, with room to seat 40, alongside bespoke Sicilian-inspired wallpaper; while the <strong>fresh, bright and lively menu<\/strong> is a personal reflection of Angelina\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-21667\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"A table of food from Vieni\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/6859342891351a407639389e.jpeg\"\/>Credit: Vieni <\/p>\n<p>Mornings begin at Vieni with<strong> coffee brewed in traditional moka pots<\/strong>, served alongside <strong>brioche and sharp lemon granita<\/strong>; generous, unfussy plates such as<strong> whole sea bass and chargrilled beef ribs<\/strong> feature later on. There are also nods to Sicilian street food, with <strong>arancini, cannoli, and, for dessert, Angelina\u2019s father\u2019s Giovanni\u2019s tiramisu<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Spritzes and Italian liqueurs<\/strong> feature throughout the drinks list, with indulgent affogatos also on offer. Vieni allows me to bring my Nonna\u2019s cooking into a restaurant setting for the first time and seeing that vision realised in my first permanent space is incredibly special. I can\u2019t wait to showcase that <strong>Sicilian food isn\u2019t just pizza and pasta<\/strong>, it\u2019s so much more!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Angelina has spent more than ten years working in Michelin-starred restaurants, hotels and kitchens. She\u2019s also the <strong>founder of Tutto Apposto<\/strong>, a successful events and hospitality business, now operating the <strong>Circle Lounge at Birmingham Hippodrome<\/strong>.
