It was a show, that was unmitigated poverty porn, featuring guests endlessly mocked and pilloried\u00a0for airing their dirty laundry on national television.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry\u2019s<\/a> wild, lurid accusations – ones that just keep on coming – are worse than any two-toothed, tracksuit-wearing contestant in Jeremy Kyle<\/a> history.<\/p>\n

Yet, as a well-spoken, ex-Etonian in a tailored shirt, this fame-hungry, attention-seeking, Californian-dwelling Duke believes his laundry doesn\u2019t stink.<\/p>\n

That he can sell out his entire family, reveal intimate secrets and intricacies that should never be revealed.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s tacky, it\u2019s cruel, it\u2019s cheap and it is utterly demeaning to the British Royal family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not so much a kiss n\u2019 tell, but a kick n\u2019 tell.<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s latest televised interview – on our national broadcaster, the very one which aired his grandmother the Queen\u2019s funeral<\/a> – is a new low.<\/p>\n

Even for hypocrite Harry – a man who preaches about climate change before hopping on a private jet, who lives in an \u00a311m Montecito mansion<\/a> whilst campaigning about global poverty – his BBC chat is wild.<\/p>\n

For a man who helped make the words \u201cmental health\u201d part of our national lexicon, apparently he has very little regard for the mental health<\/a> of his cancer-stricken<\/a> father.<\/p>\n

By daring to speculate about how long King Charles has to live<\/a>, he has surely broken the biggest taboo imaginable.<\/p>\n

If the press dared to do similar – a rigid code of conduct ensures no journalist ever would – Harry would, quite rightly, be the first to moan.<\/p>\n

To be fair to Harry, he cunningly and convincingly proved his hatred of the press<\/a> by releasing this interview at 5pm on a Friday – just as editors nationally are putting papers to bed and contemplating a nice glass of rose.<\/p>\n

Harry claims some members of his family will \u201cnever forgive him\u201d for writing a book.<\/p>\n

(He left out the \u00a3100m Netflix dea<\/a>l, the Spotify deal<\/a>, and the Oprah appearance<\/a> – the latter, of course, being where he called the royals a bunch of racists).<\/p>\n

Overly-therapised Harry at one point says he\u2019s \u201cforgiven\u201d his family.<\/p>\n

Yet his anger is there for all to see. Otherwise, why not just put out a quiet statement on Instagram?<\/p>\n

But no – Harry wanted maximum exposure, maximum impact, maximum damage.<\/p>\n

My heart bleeds for Charles<\/a> – a man brought up by his devoted, patriotic mother to never complain, never explain.<\/p>\n

Our confusing antihero says he would love to \u201creconcile\u201d with his seriously ill father.<\/p>\n

What about his wife Meghan\u2019s ailing father? Where\u2019s his desire to help these two reconcile?<\/p>\n

Thomas Markle\u2019s<\/a> public bid for reconciliation – in TV and newspaper interviews – was viewed as selling-out.<\/p>\n

Yet our garrulous Prince is wilfully blind to the fact he has done the VERY SAME thing, only for more money.<\/p>\n

Sure, this BBC interview<\/a> proved a rare freebie from the canny grifter.<\/p>\n

But clearly it\u2019s part of a bigger game plan, the start of a desperate rebrand.<\/p>\n

Harry has just lost a very costly, very humiliating five year court case<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He must now do a sharpish volte-face if he\u2019s to save himself in the court of public appeal.<\/p>\n

Harry<\/a> claims he is \u201cdevastated\u201d after losing his battle over taxpayer-funded police bodyguards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No wonder he\u2019s devastated. He now faces \u00a31.5m in legal costs; that\u2019s another pesky two-parter podcast to shoot.<\/p>\n

And without us forking out for his little jaunts – presumably the Duchess of Sussex<\/a> might like to step foot, once, in the county to which she owes her very marketable name – harrumphing Harry reckons he may never touch down at Heathrow<\/a> ever again. <\/p>\n

(Well, of course not – he\u2019s got private airfields for that).<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,\u201d he mused, ponderously.<\/p>\n
