Leeds United\u2019s<\/a> latest block of televised fixtures have been confirmed in the Premier League, as the Whites prepare for more action under the floodlights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

16 games remain in the Premier League and Leeds have a golden opportunity to stay in the division long-term. <\/p>\n

We sit eight points clear after seeing off Fulham on Saturday<\/a>, looking ahead to a cluster of what you\u2019d describe as \u201cwinnable\u201d home games. And Arsenal too.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports and TNT Sports confirm latest Leeds United Premier League fixtures moved <\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, Leeds have confirmed a couple more changes to the fixture list in the near future. <\/p>\n

Namely, home meetings with both Sunderland<\/a> and Brentford<\/a> are going to be televised by TNT Sports and Sky Sports respectively.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports giving Leeds United baffling late notice on Brentford kick-off time<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s been confirmed that Leeds\u2019 fixture with Brentford is currently pencilled in for the 8pm slot on Saturday 21st March, that may not be the case.<\/p>\n

Leeds\u2019 fixture is subject to change based on the EFL Cup and the Champions League knockout phase. Namely, Chelsea\u2019s potential EFL Cup progress to the final (currently losing 3-2 on aggregate), and Liverpool getting to the UCL round of 16:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis match will move to 5.30pm if Chelsea<\/strong> reach the EFL Cup Final (this will be known on 3rd February),\u201d Leeds\u2019 statement reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this does not occur, the match will move to 12.30pm if Liverpool<\/strong> reach the UEFA Champions League last 16 and are scheduled to play away the preceding Wednesday (known no later than 2nd March).\u201d<\/p>\n

So, Leeds\u2019 fixture could go from an 8pm kick-off to a 12.30pm kick-off with just 19 days\u2019 notice. As much as those in charge of scheduling have their hands tied juggling several competitions, it leaves travelling Leeds (and Brentford) fans with very, very limited notice to arrange any potential travel and accommodation.<\/p>\n

Leeds United gain Elland Road advantage through Premier League fixture changes<\/p>\n

Fans are being punished by late-notice fixture changing, but Daniel Farke\u2019s<\/a> squad could be set to benefit in a very important way.<\/p>\n

Leeds are yet to lose a game at Elland Road this season when playing under the floodlights. We\u2019ve won four and drawn once<\/a> (five wins if you count Lukas Nmecha\u2019s<\/a> winner v Fulham being under the lights too).<\/p>\n

This block of 10 fixtures I\u2019ve named above includes four that are \u2018under the lights\u2019 at Elland Road. Potentially cut to three if the Brentford game does move to a lunchtime slot.<\/p>\n

As much as Farke isn\u2019t fond of constant rescheduling, he\u2019ll no doubt relish his side playing multiple crucial games in perfect LS11 conditions.<\/p>\n

The Leeds boss has prescribed a point per game to stay in the division<\/a> \u2013 38 points in total. As a result, Leeds are likely targeting 13 more points to be likely to stay in the division. Changes to night games at Elland Road can only be a benefit for Leeds getting towards that magic total.<\/p>\n
